The ornament is made of two pieces of wood--3mm basswood on the back layer, and 6mm MDF plywood with a cherry veneer on the front--and glued together with strong, flexible E6000 glue. The front also has a ribbon and bow embellishment, and the owl's scarf is painted with India ink to preserve the grain of the wood under the color! The back also has the Atomik Cupcake Designs logo laser engraved into it.
